In Bev – Plant and production Area Cleaning
AB InBev is the leading global brewer and one of the world’s top five consumer product companies. Their huge portfolio of beer brands, including Budweiser, Stella Artois and Beck’s have built the company a fantastic reputation and this status alone highlights their requirement to be able to function daily with each area of their business working correctly.
The brewery site in Preston has vastly developed over the years and houses offices, tunnels, silos and tanks. With the continual stream of heavy goods vehicles and the aroma of yeast and sugars in the air, the facades of the properties pick up dirt very easily. Not to mention the internal pipework, steelwork and inner walls. A quick turnaround was top of the agenda for the facilities management team to have specified areas of the site attended to quickly, and cleaned to a high standard in a short time scale.
After a phone call to the Kaizen head office, the scale of the job was emailed and the project picked up by a dedicated project manager. Establishing the facts the team at Kaizen produced a quotation for the initial phase of the clean, followed by an ad-hoc rate to deploy once the prioritised areas were cleaned.
The site team were deployed and the hard to reach tunnel areas were cleaned to a superb standard before moving on to the heavily stained office front using a unique method to restore the cladding and rid the oily, carbon stains from the surface. 2 more tunnels were brought back to life before the team continued their work and turned their skills to the internal pipework removing the build up of yeast and sugars with a meticulous eye ensuring not an inch was missed.
The subsequent results drew praise from the senior staff at InBev for both the Kaizen team and the manager who selected the company to transform the site!
