Our Access Methods
We’ve always been at the forefront of access methods in our marketplace, and we know what will be the best type for your structure.
From innovative and low-impact rope access (abseiling), to more traditional access methods such as scaffolding or mechanical (scissor lift), we’ve got the kit and the staff to get the job done properly – including working with you to arrange any necessary permits needed to carry out works to your building.
Our rope access team are experts; fully accredited IRATA trained abseilers, with many years of experience and always work to current health and safety guidelines.
Our abseiling team recently dropped into Wellington Hospital, the largest private hospital in the UK, to carry out a detailed inspection and report of the North and South building.
Another advantage of scaffolding is that it allows other trades access, so if your building’s refurbishment includes window replacement or new signage for example they can utilise the scaffolding too, making it more cost-effective.
We always match the access technique to each building’s unique complexities. We’ll assess your building and report back with our recommended way up (or down) to get the job done safely, quickly and with minimal fuss.
And of course, all of our mechanical access team are fully IPAF trained and experienced operators and always work to the latest health and safety guidelines.
We use rope and mechanical access to bring historic listed buildings back to life. Find out how we did it with the aircraft hanger used as the location shoot for Star Wars.
We understand that our service is only as good as the talents of our team. That’s why the expertise and training of our staff is of paramount importance, so they’re fully prepared for the tough and exacting work they do. Over the years we’ve gained the top accreditations in our industry, and maintain them through regular auditing and a continuous programme of staff training and improvement.
From the first friendly chat to the last happy handshake, we’re here to make everything simple and easy, and to complete the job in hand in an efficient, safe and enjoyable way to the highest of standards.
