Superheated Water Systems

Doff and Thermatech are super-heated steam cleaning systems that clean stonework and masonry using high temperature, low pressure water without damaging any surfaces.

Very high temperature water for effective cleaning.

Low pressure cleaning guarantees absolutely no surface damage.

No harmful chemicals are used and no residue is left behind after cleaning.

Unique ‘catch tank’ system ensures that all debris is captured to be disposed of appropriately. Only clean water is released back into the environment.

Best used on

Superheated water systems can be used in building restoration, industrial spaces, food production, hygiene control, hospitals, factories, cast-iron surfaces, vehicle depots and all types of workshops. They’re also the perfect sterilisation tool for kitchens, toilets, swimming pools, hospitals and factories.

What can they remove?

  • Algae, moss, and fungi
  • Wax coatings
  • Chewing gum
  • Bitumen, oil & grease
  • Bird or vermin fouling
  • Paint  – most oil and plastic types
  • Graffiti

In detail

Doff and ThermaTech are portable, versatile and environmentally-friendly surface cleaning systems that produce superheated water (steam) at temperatures up to 150ᵒC to clean stonework and masonry. Whilst the temperature in the system is high, the pressure on the surface being cleaned is very gentle and the volume of water is low. The surface is therefore not saturated and will be dry within minutes.

The superheated water removes moss, algae, fungi and other biological matter and will also kill off spores. This means that’s there’s no need to use a chemical biocide during the removal process or as a protection against further biological activity.
